Welcome to Tezpur University Students' Science Council

The Students’ Science Council (SSC) is a students’ body of Tezpur University which was formed on 25th November 2012 by the students’ of Integrated Sciences courses of the University. The idea of SSC was born out of weekly discussions where the students of the School of Sciences would gather and discuss or give talks about various scientific topics. This quickly grabbed the attention of the professors and thus the Students’ Science Council was born. Since its formation in 2012, the council has been involved in the quest of promoting the spirit of science and developing the notion of scientific temperament among the masses.
